Plywood + another project

As some of you know Chris Attenborough and I (Sean Naftel) have been collaborating since we were at the college. We work under the name PEACOCK creating situational pieces based on space. We also have been working on Roving Project, a wandering curatorial program that drops into slack spaces for exhibitions. And now, we have started Plywood.

Plywood is a white cube gallery located in North Baltimore. It is also being slotted under Roving Project, as the space is ours until a tenant found for the storefront. Our first exhibition opens the 9th of September and will be a solo exhibition. The show is yet untitled, but features the photographic work of Jim Lucio.

So check out the website www.plywoodsite.org and keep checking back for more information on new exhibitions.

Another project that we are currently preparing for is the 3rd incarnation of the Free Art Booth. PEACOCK has been invited to present this piece at the (e)merge Art Fair this September in Washington DC. We are currently seeking submissions and would love to have work from other BCAers. Shoot us an email, find us on the facebook, or check out www.peacock-interventions.com for more info!
